The South African Police widely known as the “Hawks” affirms that it uncovered the names and figures of suspected killers of the former RDF chief intelligence Col Patrick Karegeya who fled to S.Africa and where he was murdered in late 2013.
RFI communicated that the names of the suspects have been presented to the S.African persecution as to charge them for their alleged killing of Col Patrick Karegeya.
Karegeya was murdered in December, 31, 2013 in a hotel located in Johannesburg.
His death created a tension between both nations as Rwanda was accused to have hunted him down since he fled to South Africa.
Rwanda has denied any involvement in the killing of Karegeya who was one of the founders of the Rwanda National Congress, an opposition party that aims at overthrowing the Kigali regime with all means possible, some of its leaders have said.
