She has been accusing Igihe.com news portal to have tarnished her public image due to an article she found degrading.
After the case was brought to RMC’ media self regulatory entity, the later urged the Igihe.com to pay her with a four million package as reparation fee.
However, the model, Sandra Teta told Umuseke that she stopped the charges against the Igihe.com including that financial amount.
The decision came up after a consensual discussion of both sides, Sandra admitted.
The Igihe.com agreed to write another article contradicting the former one.
For her, the fact that the news portal recognizes its shortcomings and humbly searches for pardon, the rest is to provide that pardon.
As matter of fact, tensions between both parties arose after the publication of an article that described Sandra Teta as an untrustworthy person due to its alleged misconduct.
For Teta, the related outcomes were bitterly negative as it caused her loosing many business opportunities, she admitted.
The journalist, who wrote the controversial article, Sabin Munyengabe admitted that consensus was reached between both Sandra and the Igihe.com and the issue was peacefully handled.
