The Kenyan music band Sauti Soul performed in Kigali this Saturday in a concert labeld “Live and Die in Africa”. Kigali city dwellers were eager to listen to musical live performance that features all Saudi-Soul songs.
Most of the time, fans backed the band in singing some of its hit songs in Kiswahili and English. The concert started relatively late but this didn’t hinder fans from enjoying music.
Band boys namely Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Austin Chimano, Savara Mudigi and Polycarp Otieno told reporters that Kigali is the cleanliest African city they have even seen.
The concert was highly attended by all kinds of Rwandans, young and old. It was held at Gikondo ground as to accommodate huge number of fans.
Rwandan musicians such as the raising star Yvan Buravani performed the songs such Malayika, Bindimo, Urwo nkukunda that he features with his pal Uncle Austin.
The concert ended while fans were still willing to enjoy the live music but it was promptly stopped.
