The Indian Vice President in official visit in Rwanda has been received by the Rwandan President of Senate Bernard Makuza. Both high ranking officials held closed talks for at least fourth minutes.
Indian vice president Shri M Hamid Ansari visited the Senate few minutes after visiting and honoring the victims of the genocide against the Tutsis who are resting at the Gisozi genocide memorial site.
Both officials left the Senate after the holding talks without conducting a press conference. Hamid Ansari is accompanied by various Indian officials such as the Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment Shri Vijay Sampla and other four parliamentarians.
The delegation also features numerous reporters.
Talks between Rwandan and Indian officials are meant to focus on bilateral trade, among others issues involving both nations.
