After Umuseke.rw published an advocacy story on the alarming situations where a six years old girl was caring about her mother who is agonizing due to a serious sickness of liver and other internal organs, well wishers took resolutions to come into assistance to this family especially to the girl, who is currently adopted by a doting family. She has been adopted by Innocent Ntaganzwa and his wife who live at Gisozi, Gasabo district, Kigali city.
Umuseke visited her(the adopted child Denise Uwamariya)in her new family to eyewitness how she is being taken care of.
She is enjoying a new family life with her brothers namely Martin and Bertin.
Innocent Ntaganzwa told our reporter that the decision to host the girl in his family was taken conjointly with his wife after consulting each other on the situation that could eventually follow the death of her mother who suffers a hard-to-cure sickness.
Vestine Mukamana the ‘real mother’ of the adopted child received considerable support from various people who visited her at CHUK hospital, Kigali and this has played a significant role in releasing her pain and make her more confident for a better recovery.
The amount of the money paid for all services required for her cure are equal to four million Rwf and half, spent especially in carrying out the dialysis medical procedures.
One of the monitoring committee of the life of agonizing Vestine told Umuseke that she is being assisted with oxygen machinery provision as to make life last longer.
