The Franco- Rwandese actress and former Miss France Sonia Rolland has visited the Gisimba center for children . She was shown different departments used to beautify the lives of the children and Rolland appreciated the infrastructures and hygiene observable there.
Sonia Rolland is making a working trip to Rwanda where she is busy making a movie labeled Rwanda: ‘Du Chaos au miracle’ and busy in monitoring her project called Maisha Africa.
The movie describes how Rwanda overcame post genocide hardships to become one of the first growing economies in Africa.
The infrastructures in the Gisimba center are modern and clean and include classrooms where not less than 500 children attend school.
Cheerful children sang to the host the song ‘I Can’ by the US based rapper Nas .
Children living in Gisimba center displayed varying artistic skills including musical and handcrafts related ones.
The star visited a newly inaugurated basketball ground she sponsored for children to play the game and increase their talents.
The head manager of the center named Damas Mutezintare aka Gisimba told Umuseke that the actress lauded the cleanliness and order observable in the center, urging them to maintain such success.
Sonia Rolland revealed that more projects are ahead to make the center more pleasing and up building to children.
