The Memorandum of understanding was signed between Rwandan Minister of Health r Agnes Binagwaho and the deputy Minister of health Kwon Deok Cheol and the South Koreans are willing to help Rwanda improve its heath sector through the use of IT relate services.
The partnership between both nations will also include the exchange of intellectuals and personnel in the medical field.
Korean team is in Rwanda to train medical personnel so that after their return they ( Rwandans) could be able to carry out their activities freely and successfully.
Dr Agnes Binagwaho affirms that Rwanda still needs more expertise in the use of technology in curing some hard-to-treat diseases, especially due to the fact that Rwanda is a country geographically exposed to such diseases.
Kwon Deok Cheol from the Korean side affirmed that the signature of this MoU provides his country with enough opportunities to participate in its development especially in health sector.
This will be done through exchanging information on the latest medicines and medical practices available
