This Monday Rwanda cycling team will fly to Cameroon to participate in rally scheduled to start from 14 to 18, October this year.
The players being part of the team include Hadi Janvier from Benediction Club, Biziyaremye Joseph from Cine Elmay, Areruya Joseph (Amis Sportifs) Bonaventure Uwizeyimana (Benediction Club) and Gasore Hategeka (Benediction Club).
The coach of the team is Sempoma Felix and the mechanical team manager of the team Ntibitura Issa.
The rally is ranked at the same level as the Tour du Rwanda in the category of Africa and, according to the calendar; different teams from across Africa and Europe will take part of it.
The spokesperson of the Rwanda Cycling Association Aimable Bayingana says that the participation of the Team Rwanda will be an added value as it will boost its ability and experience to go further in its operating capabilities.
For him, the coming rally will enable the Team Rwanda to get ready for the upcoming and more demanding rally during the Olympics to take place in Brazil.
According to the schedule, the Team Rwanda will fly to Cameroon from 01h00 PM this Monday.
