The court hearing of Col Byabagamba and Brig Gen Rusagara(Rtd) adjourned

The today’s court hearing of Col Byabagamba and Brig Gen Frank Rusagara(rtd) was adjourned due to the absence of their respective lawyers.

The judge in chief didn’t appreciate the absence of the lawyers as they didn’t communicate to the body of judges the reason of their absence.

As the judging panel and the audience arrived in the court, they waited for the lawyers to come but in vain.

The judge in chief ordered that the court hearing is to be postponed for 05 t0 07 January next year.
He said that the case has to be judged and concluded as it has not been too long for it to end.

The senior officers are accused of having  tarnished the image of the country and illegally holding firearms, among other allegations.
