The expansion of Kigali city reaches Ruyenzi,Kamonyi.

The region of Ruyenzi is situated in Runda sector in Kamonyi District . The Ruyenzi cell  is said to be among the quickly developing Rwanda sub-urban areas.

Residents of this region, talking to  Umuseke.com,  said that the social and economic  development of the region  is displayed  through  practical accommodations, shops and hotels being built , and other construction projects to be launched in the near future.

This huge development  surely results from a significant influx of Kigali former inhabitants who erect new infrastructures in this region.

Some people who are investing in the region, told Umuseke that the core reason of moving to Ruyenzi is that the  cell has a  conducive atmosphere  and is peaceful.

Another reason is that this place is much closer to Kigali city ,a situation that facilitates mutual exchange of goods and services between both areas.

This quick economic development  motivated  local business people  to expand their economic activities in the region instead of  blindly focusing on the Kigali city as the only  market to depend on.

Nowadays many business people are building new shops, lodges and hotel in which residents of this region will get products and services from.

Even though many houses are not altogether finished, it is said that in three years to come  this region will look like any other good-looking quarter of Kigali city.
