The first eye witness in Mugesera hearing

 This week so far the high court listened to testimonies of some witness who testified  against Dr. Leon MUGESERA, who allegedly  is accused of genocide related crimes, especially the speech he gave at Kabaya currently in Ngororero district.

As days go on, a number of witnesses say they know Dr. Leon MUGESERA and they have head the Mugesera speech as they were in the meeting where is delivered the speech in 1992.

HATEGEKIMANA Iddy, NTAWURUHUNGA Hassan and some others are some of first witnesses heard. They told the court that the speech of Dr. Leon caused many consequences even at that day. Later on many people, including his brother NGIRABATWARE Thaddeus  kept hearing it at the radio.

For certain occasions the judge  ask Dr. Leon MUGESERA to stop asking many questions which totally divert from the testimony, but Dr. MUGESERA continues to ask likewise questions. He have about sixty questions to ask, read some  Bible  verses, as well as take time explain French words,  which the prosecution consider the way of delaying the judgment process.

Now it is about two years that the judgment of Dr. Leon MUGESERA has stared. The judgment will continue as many other witnesses on both sides will give their testimonies so that they can help the court to know the truth.
