involves the fight against Cybercrimes and cross boarder crimes that endanger the world at large and Africa particularly.

The current inter connected world has developed a new set up of crimes that did not happen early in the History.

These crimes that are likely to be debated upon by the experts include online theft that steals people’s money.

It also endangers highly sensitive and classified military or economic information stored in different security and economy based entities across the world.

Consequently, a close partnership and information sharing procedures can be one of key tools to systematically hinder the evildoers from harming the world using internet.

The outcomes from this Conference should be assuring the international community that cyber security is strong and coordinated enough to secure people’s goods using available knowledge and tools.

It is in this regard that The Head of State Paul Kagame, while opening this conference, has put an emphasis on the need of increasing collaboration between all policing entities.

President Kagame considers security as a pillar of sustainable development that the world aims at achieving.

He lauded that Rwandan Police for its joint efforts to ensure Rwandans live safely.

The success of Rwandan police was achieved through the involvement of citizens in the security keeping activities and this has proven useful and lasting, President Kagame said.
