As Rwanda prepares to elect its Miss 2016, pre- selections have started across Rwanda and ended in Kigali. Five girls were selected in all Provinces and in Kigali city.
This means that the 25 girls were selected all over Rwanda. Among them, 15 girls will be taken from them and undergo the Bootcamp where they will taught different skills pertaining to Rwandan culture.
In the selection, girls must not be beautiful and attractive but also knowledgeable in the different skills and subjects.
February, 06, 2016 there will be a concert at Amahoro National stadium and the names of the 15 girls selected to be trained in the bootcamp will be revealed.
The final selection to vote the Miss Rwanda 2016 will be done from those 15 ones.
In the Northern Province the ones who were selected are:Uwamahoro Solange, Umuhoza
In the Southern Province Umutoniwabo Cynthia, Bitariho Nasra, Isimbi Eduige and Karake Umuhoza Doreen were selected.
In Easten Province the girls who were selected include Mutesi Jolly, Mutoni Balbine and Umuhumuriza Usanase Samantha.
While in the Western province the ones who were selected are: Uwase Rangira Marie d’Amour, Gisubizo Abigaelle, Akili Delyla, Uwimana Ariane and Kaneza Nickta.
