Kicukiro – At the Military court located in Kanombe, a huge gathering of journalists and other interested people were present to hear the verdict about the one of the most sensitive trials that involves the former guard of the President Paul Kagame, Lt Joel Mutabazi.
Most of them attended the court to hear from the court decision apart from Jean de Dieu Nizigiye who is sick and has communicated his case to the court.
The president of the court Maj Bernard Hategeka stood up and read: The court decided to postpone the announcement of the verdict. It will be effective on September on 9 AM.”
Maj Hategeka, Capt Narcisse Nsengiyumva and Capt Muganwa revealed that this postponing of the verdict reading is due to a further assessment of the wishes of the suspects.
Maj Hategeka said the court will search for further facts as to determine whether the suspects are innocent or guilty.
The suspects were brought to their respective prison rooms.
