Honorable Bamporiki Edouard told the youth who attended discussions in Kimihurura that the Ndi Umunyarwanda program relates to the Rwandan history rather than to him. He stated that he advocates for the Ndi Umunyarwanda program as someone who wants unity and full reconciliation among Rwandans rather than wealthy or fame.
Honorable Bamporiki said that the Ndi Umunyarwanda program is a part and parcel of the Arusha peace agreement, adding that many have lost their lives to ensure that the Ndi Umunyarwanda program becomes a reality.
For him linking his name to Ndi Umunyarwanda is minimizing the historical record. Hon Bamporiki Edouard said that he advocates for the Ndi Umunyarwanda to ensure the unity of all Rwandans rather than targeting his our interests.
I had my own work that provided me with necessary means to survive before entering the political scene, he stated.
He advocates for a full understanding of the spirit of the Ndi Umunyarwanda as one of the effective tools to ensure reconciliation and lasting unity among Rwandans.
He urged the youth to make the Ndi Umunyarwanda their own issue , reminding them that they are the hope and the future of the nation.
Hon Bamporiki Edouard said that this program requires one to feel the pain of others because it is painful for a child to be aware of the sad deeds that his/her father has committed.
Mazimpaka Patrick in charge of youth in the Kimihurura Sector reminded the youth that their first duty is to strive a better future of all Rwandans through ensuring that the Ndi Umunyarwanda becomes a reality.
