In a ceremony that took place in the Parliament , the newly appointed Prime Minister Murekezi has sworn in as the new Prime Minister who replaced the outgoing Dr Pierre Damien Habumuremyi who was ousted yesterday.
In his testament, in front of different dignitaries including the ambassadors and the members of the outgoing cabinet, PM Murekezi said that he will fulfill his responsibilities as defined by the Constitution.
PM Murekezi thanked the President of the Republic for having appointed him as the Prime Minister, adding that he will strive to fulfill his responsibilities and foster the development-related programs that President of the Republic has defined.
He said that he will continue in the way that leads to self reliance and resilience that Rwandans have set up for their own future.

The President of the Republic Paul Kagame in his speech to the cabinet, thanked the outgoing cabinet for the great job it has accomplished.
He said that the replacement of the cabinet is a means to strengthen the team that leads to a full success. He urged the new cabinet to keep increasing their efforts to reach the ideal well being of Rwandans and lasting progress.
He called upon the members to work as a team that aims at success, promising them his full cooperation as to be more fruitful.
President Kagame said that actions will make difference as all members of the cabinet will be assessed accordingly.
