The number of students to register in UoR will increase

This Monday The University of Rwanda has started to register new students willing to attend its colleges in this academic year. The number of demands to register has increased from eight thousands to ten thousands.

The authorities told reporters that the registration will  be carried out throughout these March and April. All candidates can register online to the UoR website that www.ur.ac.rw

The new candidates will pay 50 000 to register but the old students will pay 25 000 Rwf .Other criteria to get registered include one’s previous educational performance and his/her English language skills.

The UoR authorities revealed that the registration will be keenly assessing candidates’ abilities without any favor to some categories of individuals as previously done.

The Vice Rector in charge of academic affairs Prof. James McWHA, underlined that  whoever will complete all required conditions will be allowed to register without taking into account some specific issues.

The next academic year is scheduled to start in September,2014.
