The Rwandan Football federation FERWAFA is holding talks with the former Chelsea player Lee Johnson to replace Richard Tardy in the function of Head of the Technical staff of the FERWAFA. Tardy has recently abandoned his functions and went home unexpectedly.
The spokesperson of the FERWAFA, Bonnie Mugabe has told UM– USEKE the association has started talks with Lee Johnson, adding that the talks are evolving at a good pace.
Mugabe said that the remaining task is to have the view of the rest of the administrative and technical staff members before signing the contract with Lee.
Lee Johnson is a British national who has been part of the Chelsea and has been the coach of the Chelsea’s 12 year old Juniors.
He has been part of the Crystal Palace FC football team and he holds a certificate of performance called the EUFA B Licence.
