He is a retired Capt and has served in RDF several years ago. Capt Kabuye is accused by the persecution for his alleged involvement into turning citizens against the regime. The persecution urged the court to sentence him for 15 years.
One of the journalists present into the court described Capt Kabuye wearing prison uniform comprised of a shirt and short of a mild pink color.
The persecutor Ruberwa accused David Kabuye to have committed two serious crimes namely inciting citizens again the ruling system and having uttered a public blasphemous words.
He is also accused of having supported the content of the controversial documentary ‘The Rwanda Untold Story’.
However the suspect said that the experience he went through while in jail motivated him to expose them for possible improvements.
For him, all of the allegations are baseless and futile. As the persecution urges for 15 years in jail, the body of judges said that it will pronounce its decisions on 15, December this year, 2PM.
