On Monday 29, December the Prosecution has urged the court to sentence the singer Kizito Mihigo to life imprisonment as the body of judges is soon to announce its verdict about this trial that involves other suspects such as Cassien Ntamuhanga, Niyibizi Agnes and Dukuzumuremyi Jean Paul.
The prosecution urges the court to sentence singer Kizito Mihigo and is co-accused to a special life imprisonment due to the severity of the accusations they are encountering.
The representative of the Prosecution said that the court would take into account the weight of the crimes that involve the treason again the Head of state and other senior officials.
The Prosecution urged the body of judges to sentence Dukuzumuremyi to 50 years in jail as the crimes he is accused of have been committed more than once.
The prosecution urged the court to sentence Agnes Niyibizi to 25 years in jail.
