The RNP arrests artist Uncle Austin

The Afrobeat singer Uncle Austin is under arrest asa he denied to respond to the Police for the alleged dishonesty cases towards his friends.

The Police issued an arrest warrant against the singer and journalist Uncle Austin for unnamed dishonesty issues.

The singer was recently freed from the jail at the Kicukiro police station for the alleged use of fake bank checks.

The Police spokesperson in Kigali city, Supt. Mbabazi Modeste affirmed the news according which the singer is arrested and jailed.

He is arrested as he denied to appearing to the Police station for three times, Supt Mbabazi has told UM– USEKE.

The Police spokesperson said that the singer is jailed at Muhima Police station.
