Elections for the new Senator to replace Late Mucyo are taking place in South Province and started at 10h30 local time with many candidates including Dr Richard Sezibera.Votes results will be made public this Thursday.
The five candidates include: Mukakabera Monique, Dr Richard Sezibera, Dr Masabo François, Mukamuganga Veneranda and Muhimakazi Félicité.
The candidates spent days campaigning in the South Province including districts such as Nyamagabe district.
Each candidate narrated his / her contribution in making Rwanda what it is today to attract more voters.
Today representative voters will elect the favorite one but tendencies are pointing that Dr Sezibera is the most favorite.
Dr Richard Sezibera served in different areas high levels of national administration including serving as Minister of health, and heading the General Secretariat of EAC.
