Transparency International urges Rwanda National Police to provide more clarifications about the death of Makorere Gustave, one of its workers killed recently and and whose body was thrown in the Kivu Lake.
Ingabire Immaculee told Umuseke that the TIR still wonders in which circumstances the death of Makorere has happened.
Ingabire says that she knows that Makorere was a decent and kind person, characteristics that could not cause his death to happen.
“That is why we firmly urge the National Police to use its power to search more on the roots of the death of Makorere Gustave”Ingabire told Umuseke.
She told reporters that the death of Makorere needs to be clarified as to know whether his death can be related to his investigation on corruption and other serious crimes.
Recently the ACP Badege,The Spokesperson of Rwanda National Police, told Umuseke about the death of Makorere. He said that the RNP investigates more about the death and still now the circumstances of his death are in shadow.
