World Bank Chief lauds Rwanda’s efforts to use drones in blood delivery

The President of the World Bank group  Jim Yong Kim who is in Rwanda in an official visit told media and Muhanga district dwellers that the initiative that Rwanda has undertaken is a beneficial endeavor for the survival of wounded people or for other blood lacking people.

Jim Yong Kim visited the Muhanga based drones station alongside the Minister of health Dr Diane Gashumba. He thereafter said that Rwanda is to be congratulated for this technologically based initiative to help remote areas dwellers or isolated wounded people to receive life saving bloods.

Jim Yong Kim left Muhanga area towards the Kigali Industrial zone located in Gasabo, Masoro from where he will visit the technology hub called K-Labo in Kigali, Kacyiru sector, Gasabo district.

On Wednesday the World Bank leader with hold a press conference with students of the University of Rwanda in Kigali Convention Centre from where he will visit the modern village located at Kinyana in Gasabo  district, Kigali city.

The World Bank leader Kim Yong will meet the President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame tomorrow after touring the above mentioned.
